Holy Crêpe Balmain

Holy Crêpe Balmain was born from a love story with travel, culture, and the simple joy of sharing good food. Locally owned by Loite Chiwaya and Ange Gabourg, Holy Crêpe was inspired by unforgettable journeys across France — from the sun-soaked South of France to the snowy mountains of Chamonix, the charming regions of Brittany and Normandy, and the romantic streets of Paris. Along the way, they fell in love with the warmth of French cafés, the richness of local flavours, and the way food effortlessly brings people together.

Returning home to Balmain, Loite and Ange knew they wanted to recreate those moments and share them with the Sydney community through authentic crêpes and galettes. Ange, having grown up in Paris, brings with him the traditional Parisian flavours, techniques, and café culture that shaped his childhood. Loite, with her Pacific Island and New Zealand roots, brings creativity, warmth, and a passion for bold flavours from around the world. Together, they created a menu inspired by travel — a passport of flavours where French tradition meets global influence.

Every detail of Holy Crêpe was designed to transport guests to a cosy Parisian corner café. From the warm lighting and French-inspired décor to the welcoming atmosphere, the space invites you to slow down, connect, and savour life’s simple pleasures. Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee, sharing crêpes with friends, or discovering the authentic taste of Brittany through our gluten-free galettes, Holy Crêpe is about creating memories, sharing stories, and bringing a little piece of France to the heart of Balmain.
